10-15 minute read of a piece of work from a social justice educator/artist/healer/radical/etc.
20 minute mindfulness inspired mediation focused on awareness of the body and breath.
At the end of the sit participants will be offered to do a 2 minute share of their experience in regards to the group meditation and what they noticed in their practice (this share is totally optional and not required).

Park Yoga at the Arboretum
This class will run for all Sundays in August except the 22nd by rotating teachers! This class will be taught by Niv!
Start Time: 10:30am (10 min walk to foster island, 60 min vinyasa practice, 10 min walk back out).
Location: We will meet a the visitor center at the Arboretum (on the side closest to the park, not the parking lot). From there we will walk to Foster Island together to practice by the water.
How to get there: Plug the address 2300 Arboretum Drive into google maps, plan time for looking for parking! Can also take the 11 bus and get off at the Lake Washington blvd stop, about a 25 minute walk into the park to where we are meeting. Or you can walk there!
We are all vaccinated & at full efficacy and are operating under the assumption that at this point you are too!

Class style: My classes tend to start with a theme, grounding, an integration of mindfulness and then the pace picks up. I also leave space at the end of class for moving slow and a few longer holds before shavasana.
Location: The park across the street from Madison Park Beach. You can also plug the address 4221 E Blaine st 98112 into your GPS or the 11 bus is a straight shot there.
I am vaccinated & at full efficacy and am operating under the assumption that at this point you are too!

This is another POSEURS offering. This class alternates teachers between Emily Denton, David Petrusich and myself. The class date is determined by when the new and the full moon take place every month.

Class structure is half yin poses and half guided meditation, with a quick 2 minute break in-between.
